The A.P. Public Service Commission came into existence on 1 st November, 1956 with the formation of theState of Andhra Pradesh . Before this, there was AndhraPublic Service Commission in the Andhra State and Hyderabad Public Service Commission in the Hyderabad State . Andhra Service Commission came into existence only in 1953 after the bifurcation of composite Madras State into Andhra and Madras States .
On the eve of formation of Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission, Andhra Public Service Commission wasfunctioning with a Chairman and two Members and Hyderabad Public Service Commission was functioning with one Member. Hence, A.P. Public Service Commission wasconstituted with a Chairman and 3 Members. With increasing work load, Government enhanced the strength of the Commission to Chairman and 5 Members in the year 1981 and later to Chairman and 7 Members in the year 1983. Government again reviewed the strength in 1994 and enhanced it to Chairman and 9 Members. Thisis the present strength also.
Job Role : Forest Range Officers in A.P. Forest Service
Job Qualification :
(i)Must possess a Bachelor’s Degree of a University in India established or incorporated by or under a Central Act or Provincial Act or a State Act or an Institution recognized by the University Grants Commission; or any equivalent qualification in the following subjects:
(1) Agriculture
(2) Botany
(3) Chemistry
(4) Computer Applications/Computer Science
(5) Engineering (Agriculture/Chemical/Civil/Computer/Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical)
(6) Environmental Science
(7) Forestry
(8) Geology
(9) Horticulture
(10) Mathematics
(11) Physics
(12) Statistics
(13) Veterinary Science
(14) Zoology
(ii) Physical Requirements: No person shall be eligible forappointment by Direct Recruitment unless:
For Men:
1. He is not less than 163 Cms. in height;
2. He has 79 Cms. around the Chest on expiration andmust have on full inspiration, an expansion of
not less than 5 Cms. and
3. He is able to walk 25 Kms. in Four (4) hours.
For Women:
1. She is not less than 150 Cms. in height;
2. She has 74 Cms. around the chest on expiration and must have on full inspiration, an expansion of
not less than 5 Cms. and
3. She is able to walk 16 Kms.in four (4) hours
N.B: Common for Men and Women Must undergo a medical Examination to be conducted by the
Medical Board at Hyderabad and produce a health certificate signed by the Medical Board in the form prescribed by Article 49 of theCivil Service Regulation testifying to the candidates sound hearing and general physical fitness for out door work in the Forest Departmentand to the fact that he bears on his body marks of successful vaccination.
Provided further that in the case of candidates belonging to Scheduled Tribes and races such as Gurkhas, Nepalese, Assamese, Meghalaya, Ladakh, Nagaland, Manipuri, Goutha, Kashmir, Sikkimese, Bhutanese and Tripura, the minimum standard of height shall be as follows:
Men : 152 Cms.
Women: 145 Cms
Salary : Rs. 15,280/- to 40,510/-
Start Date : 03/04/2012
Last Date : 03/05/2012
30/04/2012 is the last date for payment of fee.

N.B: Common for Men and Women Must undergo a medical Examination to be conducted by the
Medical Board at Hyderabad and produce a health certificate signed by the Medical Board in the form prescribed by Article 49 of theCivil Service Regulation testifying to the candidates sound hearing and general physical fitness for out door work in the Forest Departmentand to the fact that he bears on his body marks of successful vaccination.
Provided further that in the case of candidates belonging to Scheduled Tribes and races such as Gurkhas, Nepalese, Assamese, Meghalaya, Ladakh, Nagaland, Manipuri, Goutha, Kashmir, Sikkimese, Bhutanese and Tripura, the minimum standard of height shall be as follows:
Men : 152 Cms.
Women: 145 Cms
Salary : Rs. 15,280/- to 40,510/-
Start Date : 03/04/2012
Last Date : 03/05/2012
30/04/2012 is the last date for payment of fee.

(a) The subject and syllabi of the test shall be of the standard of
Classes VIII to X of A.P. StateSyllabus for Part-II &Part III of the test.
(b) The medium of Entrance Test: Question paper shall be in
Telugu/English or Urdu/English and Tamil/English only.
(c) The candidates who havestudied SSC/Intermediate in the medium
concerned (Telugu, Urdu, English or Tamil) or who studied Telugu
or Urdu or Tamil as first language in SSC or its equivalent or who
studied as one of the above languages in part II in Intermediate
exam are alone eligible for admission of seats into concerned
medium viz. Telugu/Urdu/English/Tamil offered by theInstitution
concerned.
(d) Only the candidates who obtain qualifying marks in the DIETCET
shall be assigned ranks as per order of merit. However SC & ST
candidates shall be given rank, irrespective of marks secured by
them in DIETCET.
(e) No requests for re-totaling of marks, revaluation of answer scripts or
personal identification of answer scripts will be entertained.
(f) The DIETCET will be conducted at different examination centers to
be constituted at District Head quarters only and not at any other
place.
(g) Tamil medium candidates should write the test in Chittoor district
Head Quarters only.

DIET cet 2012 Eligibility Criteria
Under DIET CET 2012 Tags: diet cet 2012 , diet notification 2012 , Eligibility
Eligibility Criteria for Admission :
A. Candidate should be of Indian Nationality.
B. The candidate should satisfy Local/Non-Local Status requirements as
laid down in the A.P. Educational Institutions (Regulation of admission)
Order 1974 as subsequentlyamended.
C. Candidate should have obtained a rank in DIET CET 2012 and should
satisfy the eligibility criteria prescribed.
D. Age Limit: The candidates should have completed 17 years as on 01-
09-2012. There is no upper age limit.
E. Educationa l Qualifications :
I. The candidate who passed or appeared for the 10+2
Examinations (qualifying examination) or its equivalent are
eligible to appear for the entrance test. But they should have
passed the qualifying examination by the time of admission.
II. The candidate should have secured 45 percent of marks in
aggregate in qualifying examination. The minimum
percentage of marks in the case of Scheduled Caste,
Scheduled Tribe and Physically Challenged candidates shall
however be 40 percent.’
Note: The candidates who passed Intermediate examination with
vocationa l course(s) are not eligible.
F. Qualifying marks: Candidates belonging to “OC” and “BC” communities
shall secure at least 35 percent marks in DIETCET for assigning merit
rank in the CET. However there shall be no minimum qualifying marks
in respect of SC/ST candidates for allotment of seats reserved under
the respective categories.
7. The details pertaining to the Structure and content of the test,
Syllabus, Pass Criteria, Rule of Reservation and allotmentof seat are given in
the Information Bulletin.

(a) The subject and syllabi of the test shall be of the standard of
Classes VIII to X of A.P. StateSyllabus for Part-II &Part III of the test.
(b) The medium of Entrance Test: Question paper shall be in
Telugu/English or Urdu/English and Tamil/English only.
(c) The candidates who havestudied SSC/Intermediate in the medium
concerned (Telugu, Urdu, English or Tamil) or who studied Telugu
or Urdu or Tamil as first language in SSC or its equivalent or who
studied as one of the above languages in part II in Intermediate
exam are alone eligible for admission of seats into concerned
medium viz. Telugu/Urdu/English/Tamil offered by theInstitution
concerned.
(d) Only the candidates who obtain qualifying marks in the DIETCET
shall be assigned ranks as per order of merit. However SC & ST
candidates shall be given rank, irrespective of marks secured by
them in DIETCET.
(e) No requests for re-totaling of marks, revaluation of answer scripts or
personal identification of answer scripts will be entertained.
(f) The DIETCET will be conducted at different examination centers to
be constituted at District Head quarters only and not at any other
place.
(g) Tamil medium candidates should write the test in Chittoor district
Head Quarters only.

Meghalaya First carved out as a sub-State within the State ofAsom by 23 Constitutional Amendment Act, 1969. Later in 1971, it received the status of a full-fledged Stateby the North-Eastern Areas (Reorganisation) Act 1971
Manipura and Tripura Both these States were elevated from the status of Union-Territories by the North-Eastern Areas (Reorganisation) Act 1971
Sikkim Sikkim was first given the Status of Associate State by the 35th Constitutional Amendment Act 1974. It got the status of a full State in 1975 by the 36th AmendmentAct, 1975
Mizoram It was elevated to the statusof a full State by the State ofMizoram Act, 1986
Arunachal Pradesh It received the status of a full state by the State of Arunachal Pradesh Act, 1896
Goa Goa was separated from the Union-Territory of Goa, Daman and Diu and was made a full-fledged State of Goa, Daman and Diu Reorganisation Act 1987. But Daman and Diu remained as Union Territory
Chhattisgarh Formed by the Constitutional Amendment Act, 2000 by dividing Madhya Pradesh on November 1, 2000
Uttarakhand Formed by the Constitutional Amendment Act, 2000 by dividing Uttar Pradesh on November 9, 2000

FUNDAMENTAL RIGHTS IN INDIA
The Fundamental Rights in Indian constitution acts as a guarantee that all Indian citizens can and will live their lifes in peace as long as they live in Indian democracy. Theyinclude individual rigts common to most liberal democracies, such as equalitybefore the law, freddom of speech and expression, freedom of association and peaceful assembly, freedom ofreligion, and the right to constitutional remedies for theprotection of civil right.
Originally, the right to property was also included in the Fundamental Rights, however, the Forty-Fourth Amendment, passed in 1978, revised the status of property rights by stating that "No person shall be deprived of his property save by authority of law."

Constitution of India and Polity
The present constitution of India was framed by the Constitution Assembly of India setup under Cabinet Mission Plan of May 16, 1946.
Composition of Constituent Assembly:-
*. The Constituent Assembly consisted of 385 members, of which 292 were elected by he elected members of the Provincial Legislative Assemblies while 93 members were nominated bythe Princely States. To these were to be added a representative each from the four Chief Commissioners Provinces ofDelhi, Ajmer-Marwar, Coorg and British Baluchistan.
*. Each Province and each Indian State or group of States were allotted the total number of seas proportional to their respective population roughly in the ration of one to a million.
*. B N Rao was appointed the Constitutional Advisor of theAssembly.
*. The first meeting of the Constituent Assembly took place of Dec 9, 1946 with Dr.Sachidanand Sinha as its interim President. Dr. Rajendra Prasad was elected as its President n Dec 11, 1947.
*. The Assembly framing the Constitution.had 13 Committees.
*. The all-important Drafting Committee, which bore the responsibility of drafting theConstitutional document during the recess of the Constitutent Assembly, from July 1947 to September 1948, was formed on August29, 1947. Its members were:

*. It was finally passed and accepted on Nov 26, 1949. The session of the Assembly was held on Jan 24, 1950, which unanimouslyelected Dr, Rajendra Prasadas the President of India. In all the 284 members of the Assembly signed the official copies of the Indian Constitution which came into effect on Jan 26, 1950, known and celebrated as the Republic Day of India.
PREAMBLE TO THE CONSTITUTION.
The Indian Constitution starts with the preamble which outlines the main objectives of the Constitution. It reads:
" WE, THE PEOPLE OF INDIA, having solemnly resolved to constitute India into a SOVEREIGN, SOCIALIST, SECULAR, DEMOCRATIC, REPUBLIC and to secure all its citizens."
JUSTICE, social economic and political.
LIBERTY, of thought, expression, belief, faith and worship.
EQUALITY, of status and of opportunity, and to promote among them all.
FRATERNITY assuring the dignity of the individual and unity and integrity of the nation.
IN OUR CONSTITUENT ASSEMBLY, this twenty sixth day of November, 1949, do HEREBY ADOPT, "ENACT AND GIVE TO OURSELVES HIS CONSTITUTION ".
